About Us

Our Team, Our Mission and Our Help

Endo Help is a not for profit organisation, established to help and support women and girls with period pain, pelvic pain and endometriosis and their families throughout Australia. It was founded by Gillian Walker in 2016 prompted by the experiences of Sheree (her daughter) and her family in managing the condition.

Endo Help’s mission is:

“To improve the quality of life for women and girls and their families living with this debilitating, painful chronic disease by facilitating affordable, accessible holistic patient-centered care in a timely dignified manner.”

Our objectives are:

  • To petition the Federal Government to fund a 12-month pilot program for Endometriosis Care Nurses (ECN) in community settings
  • To investigate other models of ECN
  • To fund nurses to undertake endometriosis education by completing either a short course or module unit on Endometriosis, period pain and pelvic pain
  • To support ECNs, once established, including assistance with an annual conference
  • To provide or support community education including women with endometriosis and their families
  • To assess the educational materials available and to develop additional materials where gaps are identified
  • To undertake fundraising activities to support the achievement of the above objectives

Our Team

Endo Help is supported by a team of passionate, dedicated individuals with a desire to improve the quality of life for women with endometriosis, pelvic pain and period pain and their families. We are on a journey which is constantly evolving and growing. We are based in the Mornington Peninsula Region and we are working in collaboration with a South West Regional Centre in Victoria. Once established we aim to take this model to other communities throughout Australia.
